The Best Practice User Group (BPUG) hosted its second International Congress on 10-11 February 2009. Focused on project, programme and risk management, the Congress brought speakers and delegates together from around the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by today's best project managers. Senior directors like David Law, Olympic Delivery Authority, Stephen Jenner from Criminal Justice IT and Nik Thomas from BAE Systems shared their experiences.

In this vodcast Mike Acaster from the OGC (office of government commerce) explains the history behind PRINCE2:2009.  PRINCE2 was originally developed by the UK government but has since been enhanced to aid businesses tackle project management in all areas as well as IT. The method of PRINCE2 is continually developing with enhancements being made according to feedback that is given by existing users.
